BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management 

The Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

There are 12 Units of Competency, including six (6) Core Units:

  • BSBCMM511 Communicate with influence
  • BSBCRT511 Develop critical thinking in others
  • BSBLDR523 Lead and manage effective workplace relationships
  • BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans
  • BSBPEF502 Develop and use emotional intelligence
  • BSBTWK502 Manage team effectiveness

Learning is completed online via the Learning Management System.

Monthly workshops are held via Zoom, Teams or Skype.

Learners can choose between hard copy resources, with online assessment; or fully online resources.

Assessments include written activities and projects completed in a self-paced timeframe.

There are no pre-requisite requirements to complete the Diploma of Leadership and Management.

All learners are required to complete a Pre-Training Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment prior to enrolment.

The units in maroon are recommended units, however individual learners can choose electives to suit their needs. 

The remaining two (2) units can be chosen from the units above, or from any currently endorsed Training Package at Certificate IV level or above.
